Dr. Romeo Dimaano, D.C., is a native of Ventura County. Early on, as an active athlete in cross country, tennis, martial arts, and snowboarding, Dr. Dimaano found his performance was limited by re-occurring injuries. After years of experiencing chronic pain, Dr. Dimaano became fascinated with the body’s natural ability to heal itself having received chiropractic care with great benefit. In 2006, Dr. Dimaano completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West and founded Active Chiropractic & Wellness Center.
Today, we are Active Spine & Sports Care in Camarillo and Ventura, a practice dedicated to serving the individual needs of every patient, athlete or not. Early in his practice, Dr. Dimaano found that the chiropractic adjustment or joint manipulation alone was limited in the long-term benefits it had to offer patients and continues to train with a focus on movement dysfunction and functional rehabilitation to treat the various ailments that plague his patients.
With his functional approach and success in soft tissue and repetitive stress injuries, Dr. Romeo Dimaano has quickly become an instrumental, movement and rehabilitation expert for numerous people, including endurance and extreme athletes, around Southern California.
